There's a little white
church in the valley

That stands in my memory each day



And it seems I
can hear the bells now ringing

Though I am many miles away



And many
times in church on Sunday morning

That whole countryside would gather
there



They would all kneel down by the altar

As they lifted up their
voice in prayer

아마도
세상에서 가장 작은 교회가 아닐까 ..

2~3명정도는 들어가서 기도하겟네요

They would sing the old song Rock of Ages

Oh Christ let me hide
myself in thee



And I know some of them are now waiting

Just o'er the
dark and stormy sea



I know that troubles all are ended

And happy
forever they will be



They are waiting and watching up yonder

For the
coming home of you and me

슬프거나 외로울땐 골짜기의 작은
하얀교회에가
우리들의 보금자리다 ,

저 멀리 교회에서 들려오는 종소리를 들으러
우리는 매일 가곤 했다 ..

일요일이면 시골에서는 모두 모여 성찬대
계단 아래서 기도하는 소리를 듣곤 했다 ...







우리들의 어린시절과 미국사람들의 어린시절도 별반
다를게 없네요 ,

이 맘 때쯤 교회 정문에는 " 즐거운 여름성경학교 "라는 프랑카드가 걸리곤 하죠 ..

저도 어릴 때는 교회 많이 다녔는데
이제는 바쁘다는 핑계로
교회근처에도 못갑니다 ..   어설픈 변명 , 제가 생각해도 씁쓸합니다 .

시간나면 주일예배 가야지 하면서
정작 시간나면. 목사님 미안미안...

다른 볼일은 바도 교회는 안 가지네요 ㅡ,.ㅡ




루마니아 마라무라슈(maramures) 의 독특한 교회양식

여기도 우리네 어린시절 여름성경학교와 비슷하지요?





아담하고 소박한 이색적인교회 .
교회도 리모델링해서 통나무나 흑 벽돌로 하면 경비도 절감되고 좋을 수도
